Quality control testing runs through every link of BYD forklift’s factory production process, forming a complete, traceable standard system to ensure product performance meets preset requirements under different usage scenarios.
At the incoming component verification phase, all raw materials and spare parts that enter the production line will go through the first round of testing as per unified standards. For core power-related components, inspectors will complete electrical parameter consistency check, insulation performance test and appearance integrity verification for each batch. For metal structural parts, they will carry out dimension tolerance calibration and surface strength spot check. All components that fail to meet the standard threshold will be returned directly and will not enter subsequent assembly links, which can effectively avoid potential quality risks caused by unqualified raw materials.
At the semi-finished product assembly phase, phased testing standards are implemented at each key assembly node. After the frame welding process is completed, staff will test the form and position tolerance of the whole frame to make sure no deformation that affects subsequent assembly exists. After the hydraulic system pre-installation is finished, closed-loop pressure holding test will be carried out to check the sealing performance of every joint. After the whole circuit wiring is completed, full-circuit power-on test will be launched to confirm that there is no wrong connection or virtual connection of circuits. All test data of this phase will be recorded into the product quality traceability system, and semi-finished products that do not pass the test will not flow to the next assembly process.
At the finished product off-line full test phase, each assembled forklift needs to complete more than 30 items of full-coverage testing as per unified standards. The test content includes no-load and full-load lifting operation verification, driving and steering sensitivity test, braking distance detection under different driving speeds, 15% slope parking and climbing performance check, rain and dust environment simulation test, as well as continuous 4-hour full-load operation stability inspection. Only after all test items meet the preset standards can the finished forklift enter the subsequent packaging and delivery link.
In the final sampling endurance verification phase, a certain proportion of finished forklift products will be randomly selected from each production batch to carry out extended cycle operation test. During the test process, staff will record the energy consumption fluctuation, component wear condition and functional stability of the forklift in continuous working state, so as to find possible process deviation in time and optimize the production flow continuously. The whole set of testing standards system strictly abides by relevant industrial safety specifications, and provides solid support for the stable, long-term operation of BYD electric forklifts in different logistics, manufacturing and warehousing scenarios.
