As the global operation scope of BYD electric forklift continues to expand, the construction of matching after-sales service system has always been synchronously promoted to cover all overseas regional customer bases in a systematic way. The whole service network follows the principle of adjacent support and hierarchical layout, to deliver consistent, stable and accessible service experience for all forklift users in different regions.
The network adopts a three-tier layout structure to match the distribution characteristics of local customer groups. The first tier is the regional central service hub, which is set up in core regional economic cities with convenient transportation conditions, taking charge of unified scheduling of service resources, centralized spare parts storage and skill training for local service personnel. The second tier is the urban fixed service station, which is located near concentrated industrial zones, logistics parks and port gathering areas, to provide nearby maintenance, routine inspection and equipment debugging services for surrounding customers. The third tier is the mobile service unit, which covers areas outside the radiation range of fixed stations, equipped with necessary maintenance tools and common spare parts, to realize fast on-site arrival for dispersed customer demands.
For each service node in the network, all service personnel need to complete a unified standardized skill training before taking post, to master the structural features, operation logic and common troubleshooting methods of different types of BYD electric forklifts. Each regional hub reserves sufficient common spare parts in advance, which effectively shortens the waiting time of parts replacement for customers, avoiding the extra cost and equipment idle loss caused by long-distance cross-border parts delivery. For regular after-sales demands, the local service team will respond within 24 hours after receiving the customer application, and complete on-site inspection and solution confirmation as soon as possible. For special scenarios in remote areas, the team will work out targeted service schedule to ensure the demand is properly handled within the agreed time frame.
In addition to basic fault maintenance services, the after-sales network also provides multiple value-added support items tailored for local regional customer characteristics. The service team can provide free operation training for the forklift operators of customer enterprises, to help them master standard operation specifications, effectively extend the service life of equipment and reduce the probability of misoperation caused failures. The team will also arrange regular return visits for customers, to track the actual operation status of the equipment in different working scenarios, and provide reasonable maintenance suggestions based on the working intensity and using frequency of each customer.
At present, the digital service channel supporting the whole network has been fully opened. Customers can submit service applications, check the maintenance progress, consult daily maintenance tips and make appointment for regular inspection through the dedicated online entrance. The continuous optimized after-sales service network will keep focusing on the actual demands of overseas regional customers, to deliver more reliable full-lifecycle service guarantee for the stable operation of BYD electric forklifts.
