When placing an order for new lithium forklifts, many purchasers only focus on the core performance parameters of the equipment, while easily ignoring the confirmation of delivery terms and supporting accessories, which may lead to unnecessary communication disputes, delayed commissioning of equipment, and even affect the normal operation of on-site material handling work. As a professional practitioner in the electric forklift industry, we recommend that all relevant parties sort out and confirm the following contents in written form before formalizing the order agreement.
First of all, it is necessary to confirm all key delivery terms clearly to eliminate ambiguous provisions. The first item is the clear delivery cycle: both parties need to define the starting point of the delivery time, confirm whether the calculation starts from the date of order confirmation, the date of receiving the advance payment, or the date of confirmation of all customized parameters, and agree on the notification mechanism if there is a possibility of delayed delivery due to force majeure or special production arrangement, to avoid inconsistent understanding of the delivery time. The second item is the division of delivery and responsibilities: confirm the specific delivery location, clarify whether the goods are delivered to the designated unloading point inside the buyer’s factory area, or to the nearest offline logistics station, and specify which party is responsible for the unloading operation and the corresponding safety liability scope during the unloading process. The third item is the arrival acceptance rule: specify the time limit for on-site unpacking acceptance after the goods arrive, list the inspection items covering appearance integrity, basic driving function test, and lithium battery status detection, and clarify the feedback channel and processing period for problems such as collision damage and parts missing found during acceptance. The fourth item is the effective scope of after-sales service: confirm the start time of the official warranty period, and clarify the coverage of free on-site debugging and inspection services within the agreed service period.
In addition to delivery terms, you also need to check the list of supporting accessories one by one to ensure all required items are delivered together with the main unit. First, confirm the basic operation supporting accessories, including the charging cable with matching current specification, printed version of operation and maintenance manual, and basic daily maintenance tool kit, to ensure that operators can carry out charging and basic inspection work smoothly after the equipment arrives. Second, confirm the scene-adapted supporting accessories according to actual usage demands: if the equipment is scheduled to work in low temperature cold storage environment, confirm whether the corresponding low-temperature protection accessories are pre-installed or delivered together; if the working site is a narrow channel with high stacking demand, confirm the matching status of the side shift attachment and the reserved interface on the forklift main unit. Third, confirm the operational spare parts supporting accessories, including conventional easily worn replacement parts, emergency power-off spare parts, and the authorization voucher for remote after-sales debugging function, which can effectively reduce the waiting time for subsequent maintenance work.
By confirming all the above contents before signing the formal order, purchasers can effectively reduce the subsequent communication cost, make the new lithium forklift put into normal operation within the expected time, and get stable and efficient material handling support for daily work.
