When you get the official datasheet of a BYD forklift, it is not recommended to only pay attention to several core nominal parameters directly, as ignoring the detailed matching logic will easily lead to mismatch between the selected equipment and actual onsite scenarios, and fail to give full play to the due use value.
The first step is to sort out and read the basic load and dimension parameters first, and carry out the first round of matching assessment. You can find the rated load value under the standard load center distance marked at the front of the datasheet, and check the residual load curve under different lifting heights in the corresponding parameter notes, instead of using the nominal rated load as the standard for all working scenarios. Compare the above parameters with the actual weight of frequently transported goods on site, the maximum stacking height of goods, and the reserved spacing between shelves, to confirm whether the equipment can still carry goods stably when lifting to the preset maximum operation height. You also need to check the minimum turning radius, right angle stacking channel width and other dimension parameters on the datasheet, and compare them with the net width of the pre-planned driving channel on site to avoid the situation that the equipment cannot turn flexibly in a narrow space.
The second step is to check the power and performance parameters to complete the second round of matching. Confirm the standard cycle working duration of the whole forklift under the standard test condition marked on the datasheet, compare it with the single-shift continuous working time, daily operation frequency and available rest time of the onsite operation team, to arrange the reasonable battery replenishment plan in line with the actual situation. You also need to check the maximum allowable climbing angle of the forklift with full load, compare it with the actual slope of the passage between the working area and the loading and unloading platform, the pavement condition of the outdoor transition area, to ensure that the equipment can pass through all designated sections smoothly under full load state.
The third step is to verify the accessory and adaptation parameters for final check. If you need to install auxiliary working attachments such as side shifter, you can find the allowable attachment weight and corresponding interface specification on the datasheet, to confirm that the modified use demand of the equipment is within the official allowable range. After completing the above three steps of comparison and assessment, you can get a highly accurate matching result between the forklift and the onsite working conditions, which can effectively extend the service life of the equipment, reduce unnecessary operation wear, and bring stable operation support for the daily handling work.
