In this temperature interval, the self-discharge rate of the battery assembly can be maintained at a low level, which effectively reduces the extra consumption of active substances inside the electrode. It is not recommended to place the idle battery in a working area with severe temperature fluctuations, such as the side of a high-temperature industrial furnace or the open air exposed to low-temperature freezing weather. Users also need to check the state of charge of the battery once every 30 days, and keep the remaining power between 40% and 60% to avoid damage caused by excessive self-discharge.
For long-term idle scenarios that last more than 180 days, the strictest storage temperature limit is set between 10℃ and 25℃. This temperature range can minimize the irreversible attenuation of the internal chemical system of the lithium-ion forklift battery assembly, and effectively extend the overall service cycle of the product. Before long-term storage, users should disconnect the battery assembly from all external peripheral loads, and do not stack heavy objects on the outer shell of the battery during the placement process. It is also necessary to arrange a special person to check the ambient temperature data of the storage area every week, adjust the cooling or heating equipment in time to keep the temperature within the specified range, and avoid unnecessary performance loss or hidden safety risks caused by out-of-limit temperature.
