Food-grade warehouses that store raw agricultural products, processed ready-to-eat food, frozen food and food contact packaging materials have special strict operation specifications for all on-site material handling equipment, to avoid any potential contamination that may damage food safety. Second, the power and emission performance of the electric handling truck should fully adapt to the closed, high hygiene standard operating environment of food-grade warehouses. The vehicle must not produce any exhaust gas, oil leakage, or unorganized emission of particulate matter during the whole operation cycle. The power energy system should be equipped with a fully sealed protection structure, to avoid electrolyte leakage even under accidental collision, high humidity or low temperature working conditions. The noise level of the vehicle operation should be controlled within the specified range, not to cause disturbance to the stored food that is sensitive to sound wave or vibration.
Third, the operation and maintenance specifications of electric handling trucks need to match the differentiated zoning requirements of food-grade warehouses. For low-temperature frozen food storage areas below zero centigrade, the vehicle must pass special low-temperature adaptation tests, to ensure that all functions including lifting, traveling and braking can operate stably for a long time in low temperature environment without performance attenuation. For areas that store unpacked ready-to-eat food, the vehicle should be equipped with non-staining, non-mark solid tires that will not leave any trace residues on the ground after long-term driving.
