Against the background of accelerating low-carbon transformation in the logistics and warehousing industry, electric forklifts have been widely recognized for their low noise, zero local emission and relatively low operating cost compared with traditional internal combustion models. For frontline operators and warehouse managers, mastering systematic operation and management rules can give full play to the performance advantages of such equipment, and reduce unnecessary operation risks in daily work.
Core Pre-operation Inspection Specifications
Before each formal start-up operation, operators shall complete the necessary inspection links as required. The main items include checking the remaining power level to ensure that the power supply can support the completion of the scheduled operation tasks, checking the wear state of the brake device and the flexibility of the steering structure, observing whether there is abnormal deformation or crack on the surface of the forks, and confirming that the hydraulic lifting system can rise and fall smoothly without blockage. If any abnormal state is found during the inspection, the equipment shall not be put into operation before the hidden danger is eliminated.
Efficient and Standardized Operation Points
In the daily operation process, operators shall adjust the driving speed according to the actual conditions of the warehouse passage, reduce the speed in advance when turning or passing the aisle intersection, and avoid violent operation actions such as sudden braking and sharp steering. During the driving process, the lifting height of the forks shall be controlled within the lowest range that does not rub the ground and the goods, which can reduce the center of gravity offset of the whole vehicle and improve driving stability. It is not allowed to use the electric forklift to carry personnel in any unloaded or loaded state, and relevant operation rules for driving on ramps shall be strictly followed to avoid safety risks.
Routine Maintenance and Care Suggestions
After the daily operation is completed, the equipment shall be parked in the designated safe area, and the power supply shall be supplemented in time according to the remaining power proportion, to avoid the state of long-term deep power loss that may affect the overall performance of the battery. The heat dissipation structure of the drive motor and the dust cover of the electrical assembly shall be cleaned regularly, to prevent the accumulation of sundries from affecting the normal heat dissipation effect. For the equipment that needs to be stored for a long time, keep the battery power in a reasonable middle range, and place the equipment in a dry, ventilated and cool area to avoid long-term exposure to strong sunlight or rain erosion. Following the above series of standardized operation and management rules, enterprises can make electric forklifts better adapt to the material handling needs of different scenarios, and create more stable operation value for daily production and logistics links.
