The first prominent trend is the continuous expansion of warranty coverage dimensions. In the early stage of lithium forklift battery popularization, most warranty clauses only covered failures caused by raw material and manufacturing defects within a fixed time limit. Nowadays, more standard warranty terms have added clear provisions on capacity retention rate within the agreed service cycle, which guarantee that the battery can maintain a specified proportion of its rated capacity under normal compliant usage, and clarify the exclusion clauses for abnormal attenuation caused by improper operation. Previously, most lithium battery warranty and service packages adopt a unified standard version, which cannot fully match the differentiated usage intensity of different users. At present, the industry has launched graded optional service solutions, which allow users to choose corresponding warranty cycles and service contents according to their daily forklift usage frequency, load weight and working environment. All parties also tend to clarify the rights and responsibilities of both parties in more detail in the agreement, to avoid unnecessary disputes caused by vague clauses.
