As the core wear and tear components of electric forklifts, battery maintenance is the top priority of daily maintenance. Daily use should resolutely avoid overcharging and overdischarging. The remaining 20% of the power should be connected to the compliance charging equipment in time. The charging area should be ventilated and dry, away from high temperatures and flammable and explosive items. Regularly clean the dust accumulation and residual liquid leakage marks on the surface of the battery, check whether the terminals are oxidized and loose, and the equipment that has been idle for a long time should also be routinely recharged once a week to avoid irreversible losses caused by long-term power loss of the battery.
Check the status of the hydraulic and transmission system regularly every week to confirm that the hydraulic oil level is in the standard range, check whether there are any traces of oil leakage in the YouTube gap, test whether there is any abnormal noise in the lifting and tilting of the gantry, and regularly add special grease to the transmission chain and running gears to avoid abnormal wear of components caused by dry friction.
After each operation, you should also do a good job of finishing maintenance, park the vehicle in the designated flat area, lower the door frame to drop the fork to the lowest position, pull the handbrake to disconnect the main power supply, and clean up the debris and dust attached to the body surface in time to avoid water infiltration into the circuit interface. Long-term adherence to these normal maintenance operations can effectively reduce the failure rate of electric forklifts, lengthen the service life of equipment as much as possible within a reasonable range, reduce unnecessary equipment replacement expenses, and provide reliable support for the stable operation of daily handling operations.
