First, start with pre-packaging component sorting. Before formal packaging, staff shall sort all detachable parts of the electric pallet truck separately, including the operating handle, emergency release component, small tool kit and power battery. All independent components shall be wrapped with shock-proof bubble film first, and then placed in a marked corrugated box to avoid loss or collision damage during long-distance transit. For the power battery part, relevant international transportation safety rules shall be strictly followed to complete insulation treatment, paste corresponding warning labels on the outer surface, and separate it from metal sharp parts of the main body to avoid accidental extrusion.
Second, implement standard seaworthy packaging for the main truck body. Clean the whole body of the electric pallet truck first to remove residual dust and sundries on the surface, spray a layer of anti-rust protective agent on all exposed metal parts, to prevent corrosion caused by high humidity and high salt spray environment during sea transportation. All movable structures such as the load wheel support and fork arm limit component shall be fixed with high-strength rigid cushion blocks to eliminate the displacement risk caused by bumping on the way. After that, wrap the whole main body with thickened waterproof stretch film for 3 to 5 layers, paste hard foam guard at all protruding corners that are easy to be collided, then fix the whole equipment on the fumigation-free high-strength plywood pallet, and tighten the main body and the pallet with multiple galvanized anti-slip strapping bands to avoid sliding.
Third, do a good job in transit protection after loading into the container. Place the packaged electric pallet truck in the middle area of the container close to the load-bearing beam, do not stack it with heavy sharp goods, and leave buffer gaps between multiple devices to pad corrugated cardboard for shock absorption. Fix each pallet of electric pallet truck with nylon webbing to the fixed ring of the container, so as to avoid the whole set of goods shifting when the vehicle suddenly brakes or the hull shakes during navigation. All shipping documents shall clearly mark the total weight, center of gravity position and operation precautions of the goods, so as to remind the freight forwarder and the destination unloading team to avoid rough handling.
Finally, reserve operation space for post-arrival inspection. After the goods arrive at the destination port, the receiver shall check the integrity of the outer packaging first, confirm whether there is obvious external impact trace, then carry out unpacking inspection step by step, check the appearance of the equipment and the normal operation of core functions, so as to timely deal with possible transportation damage problems.
