Against the background of continuous expansion of modern warehouse and logistics industry, electric forklifts have been widely recognized for their low noise, zero on-site emission and flexible operation characteristics, becoming one of the core equipment for indoor material handling work. Mastering correct use and management methods can help operators give full play to the performance of the equipment and avoid unnecessary operation risks.
Core Standardized Operation Rules for Daily Use
Before each startup operation, operators need to complete pre-inspection work including braking performance check, remaining power confirmation, lifting chain tightness test and surrounding working environment investigation, to rule out hidden risks such as loose parts and obstacles in the driving path. During the driving process, the actual load should not exceed the rated load capacity marked on the equipment nameplate, the driving speed should be adjusted according to the site condition, and deceleration measures must be taken in turning, narrow channel and pedestrian intensive areas. It is not allowed to carry non-working personnel on the car body or lift people to carry out high-altitude operation without matching special safety platforms. When driving on gentle slopes, keep the goods at the lowest possible safe height and avoid sudden steering or sudden braking actions.
Scientific Routine Maintenance Points
Regular maintenance work is the key to keep the equipment in stable working condition for a long time. For the power battery part, operators need to regularly check the connection tightness of the wiring terminal, avoid long-term over-discharge or overcharge, and place the equipment in a cool and ventilated area for charging, so as to prevent high temperature from damaging the internal structure of the battery. For the hydraulic system, check the hydraulic oil level and sealing condition every 30 days of cumulative use, and replace the aging sealing parts in time if oil leakage is found. The dust attached to the surface of the driving motor and heat dissipation parts should be cleaned regularly to ensure good heat dissipation effect during long-time continuous operation. When the equipment is not used for a long time, it should be parked in a dry and flat designated area, turn off the main power switch, and replenish the power regularly every certain period.
Practical Tips for Efficiency Promotion
In daily operation process, operators can pre-plan the driving route before starting work according to the distribution of goods and storage positions, reasonably sort the handling sequence of goods, reduce unnecessary round-trip driving and repeated lifting actions. For different working scenarios, operators can adjust corresponding operation parameters within the allowable range of equipment functions, for example, appropriately reduce the maximum driving speed when working in narrow channels, to balance operation safety and work efficiency. After each shift, operators need to simply sort out the abnormal situation found in the operation process and feed back to the management personnel in time, to arrange professional inspection and maintenance before small problems evolve into large failures, so as to ensure the continuity of subsequent material handling work.
