Electric forklifts are widely applied in modern warehouse, manufacturing and logistics scenarios for their zero-emission, low-noise and easy-maneuver features. Proper mastery of emergency response procedures directly cuts down casualty and property loss risks when unexpected hazards occur, so systematic training for operators on relevant protocols is a core part of enterprise on-site safety management.
Start with standardized theoretical pre-training before any practical operation. Trainers shall first introduce common potential emergencies for electric forklift operation, including sudden battery overheat, accidental collision with surrounding personnel, unexpected slope slipping, control system failure and load unbalance tipping, and clarify the core judgment logics to distinguish different hazard levels, to avoid misoperation that may expand the risk. Trainees need to fully master the position and function of core safety components including the emergency power off button, safety alarm and manual brake, and understand the basic requirements of on-site protection before any disposal action.
Launch scenario-based simulation practical training in isolated non-operation zones. Trainers set up various simulated hazard scenes without real risk, to guide trainees to complete full response steps including immediate power cut, surrounding personnel evacuation, on-site danger marking, and reporting to safety management department in correct order. For specific high-risk scenes such as unbalanced tipping, trainees shall practice the correct self-protection posture instead of jumping off the vehicle blindly, to reduce personal injury probability. All simulation drills shall be repeated until every trainee can finish the whole response process without referring to operation manuals.
Complete closed-loop assessment and regular refresher training after the drill. The assessment combines theoretical written test and practical operation inspection, to confirm all operators meet the safety requirement before they can take independent posts. Enterprises shall organize emergency procedure refresher training at least every 6 months, and supplement new response contents according to newly appeared operation scenarios or near-miss cases recorded in daily management, to continuously optimize the actual response effect of all operators.
