As lithium-ion forklifts are widely applied across industrial logistics scenarios, mismatches between charging equipment and on-site power supply capacity have become a common pain point for many operators. Many operation sites face diversified power supply conditions: old factory zones with reserved low power capacity, newly built logistics parks with sufficient power allocation, and temporary operation yards with limited temporary power access, all put forward different requirements for charging equipment. The BYD lithium-ion forklift charger series is developed to fully cover these differentiated scenarios, without requiring users to carry out large-scale power grid renovation for normal use.
For sites with limited on-site power supply capacity below 10kVA, the low-power adaptive charger in this series is a proper option. This model features relatively low input current, which will not trigger the site’s overload protection switch during operation. It is equipped with a built-in voltage stabilization module, which can adapt to common standard industrial and even ordinary industrial power sockets, no extra circuit reconstruction is needed during deployment, the whole installation process takes very short time, and it can stably complete daily charging work for 1 to 2 units of lithium-ion forklifts.
For conventional manufacturing and storage sites with power supply capacity between 10kVA and 30kVA, the mid-power charger series is designed with dynamic power allocation function. When multiple chargers are connected to the same power loop, the system can automatically identify the remaining available power of the site, and adjust the output power of each connected charger intelligently, to avoid the risk of whole loop overload caused by simultaneous high-power operation. This model can meet the daily replenishment demand of 3 to 5 units of lithium forklifts, and will not interfere with the normal power consumption of other production equipment in the factory.
For large modern logistics parks with sufficient on-site power supply capacity, the high-power model in this charger series supports parallel cluster connection. The built-in intelligent management system can arrange the charging sequence of dozens of connected forklift chargers, give priority to full-power operation during off-peak electricity price periods, effectively reduce the overall electricity cost of the fleet. All products in this series are equipped with multiple standard safety protection mechanisms, to ensure stable and reliable operation under various normal industrial power supply environments.
