Many operators often face selection confusion when choosing between integrated-charger and separated-charger models, so targeted parameter comparison can help match usage demands more accurately.
First of all, we will compare parameters related to charging structure and layout. For integrated-charger electric pallet jacks, the entire charging module is embedded into the inner frame of the vehicle body, no extra external protruding structure will take up operating space, and the overall curb weight distribution is more balanced. The weight of the built-in charging module usually accounts for 1.2% to 2% of the total vehicle curb weight, which will not occupy the effective load quota of the pallet jack. There is only one unified charging interface reserved on the outside of the vehicle body, no extra storage space for independent charger parts is needed during daily use. For separated-charger electric pallet jacks, the main body of the vehicle does not contain any built-in charging components, which can reserve more internal space for larger capacity battery packs, and the independent external charger can be placed separately in the designated charging area according to actual usage habits.
Next is the comparison of charging performance parameters. The built-in charging module of integrated models is specially adapted for on-board low-voltage working conditions, which can automatically identify 110V or 220V common civilian power sockets, with built-in multiple anti-fluctuation protection mechanisms. The conventional continuous charging efficiency can reach 12% to 18% of full battery capacity per hour, and operators do not need to master extra professional operation steps to complete the whole charging process. For separated-charger models, the independent charger has a wider power adjustment range, and its fast charging mode can replenish 25% to 35% of full battery capacity per hour under matched stable power supply conditions, which can shorten the waiting time for centralized power replenishment of multiple devices.
Then we look at maintenance and operation related parameters. The internal circuits of built-in charging modules for integrated models are all sealed and protected, with protection level reaching IP54 on average, the average no-fault running time of the charging part can reach 8000 hours under normal use, and daily maintenance only needs to regularly clean the dust on the exposed charging interface. For separated-charger models, the independent charger can be replaced directly without disassembling the vehicle body structure, which is more suitable for the operation mode that multiple pallet jacks share a small number of high-power chargers, and the protection level of independent external chargers usually reaches IP32 under conventional standards.
In the actual selection process, operators can match the corresponding configuration scheme according to their own site conditions, personnel allocation and operation frequency, both two design directions have reasonable applicable scenarios, there is no absolute superior or inferior option.
