For new operators who are first exposed to electric pallet trucks, standardized operation not only extends the service life of the equipment, but also effectively avoids unnecessary safety hazards in daily logistics scenarios. The following step-by-step guidance covers all core operation links that new users need to master, and no extra professional experience is required to get started properly.
Step 1: Complete full pre-operation inspection before each start. Before touching the control handle, the operator first checks the outer surface of the equipment to confirm there is no obvious damage, no foreign objects stuck in the running wheels, then test the braking performance, lifting and lowering function of the fork arms to make sure all parts work normally. Next, check the remaining power level to confirm it can support the full operation task of the current shift, and clear the working area within 2 meters around the equipment to remove scattered obstacles that may affect driving safety.
Step 2: Follow standard startup and load placing rules. After confirming no hidden dangers in the pre-check, turn on the power switch, do not push the accelerator lever to the maximum state at the first start, adjust the driving speed to the lowest level for trial run for 2 to 3 meters to confirm the equipment runs smoothly. When picking up goods, adjust the fork spacing to match the pallet size, make sure the load is evenly placed in the middle of two fork arms, do not place goods beyond the maximum load mark of the equipment, and lift the fork to 10 to 15 cm above the ground before driving.
Step 3: Master key points of daily driving and parking. In the driving process, keep the running speed at low level when passing narrow aisles, working near pedestrian gathering areas or turning corners, send out reminder signals in advance to avoid collision with passing staff. Do not carry other people on the equipment, do not drive across the slope with a large tilt angle, and do not place your feet or hands outside the operation range of the equipment. When finishing the operation, park the equipment in the designated area, lower the fork arm to close to the ground, pull up the brake, turn off the total power supply and take away the key.
Step 4: Do a good job in basic daily maintenance. Do not wash the electric part of the equipment with high-pressure water directly, wipe the dust on the surface of the equipment with a dry soft cloth after each shift. Charge the equipment in the designated ventilation area when the remaining power drops to 20%, do not over discharge the battery for a long time. If you find any abnormal sound or function failure during operation, stop using the equipment in time and contact the professional maintenance personnel, do not disassemble the internal parts without permission. All operations need to comply with the local site safety management regulations, new operators can gradually get familiar with the equipment performance after repeated low-load training, and form good operation habits.
