Against the background of rapid development of low-carbon logistics, electric forklifts have become one of the most widely used material handling equipment in warehousing, manufacturing port and distribution scenarios. Many frontline operators and logistics managers still need more systematic, practical guidance to grasp the core points of efficient use of such equipment.
Core Standard Operation Points for Daily Use
Before starting each shift, operators need to complete basic pre-inspection work, including checking the remaining battery level, flexibility of the braking system, wear condition of the fork arms and the integrity of safety warning parts. During the operation process, it is not recommended to exceed the rated load limit for a long time, slow down in advance when turning or passing narrow aisles, avoid frequent sudden acceleration and sudden braking, which can effectively reduce unnecessary energy consumption and reduce the wear of power components. Operators also need to keep a clear view during the handling process, place the goods stably on the fork arm to prevent slipping and falling in the process of moving, to avoid accidental damage to the goods or surrounding facilities.
Scientific Daily Maintenance Routine
For daily cleaning work, do not use high-pressure water to directly flush the electronic control system and battery components, to avoid potential safety hazards caused by moisture entering the precise circuit structure. Operators should regularly check the oxidation degree of wiring terminals, arrange charging work according to the standard process, avoid long-term over-discharge or overcharge of the battery group, and keep the battery power at a reasonable level when the equipment is idle for a long time. Regularly apply special lubricating grease to the moving hinge parts of the gantry and wheels, to reduce running resistance and abnormal noise, so as to keep the equipment in a good running state for a long time.
Scenario Adaptation to Optimize Use Efficiency
In different application scenarios, users can adjust the matching mode of equipment according to actual demand. For scenarios with frequent uphill and downhill operations, reasonably adjust the power output parameters under the guidance of technical personnel to adapt to the load demand of climbing operation. For low-temperature cold storage scenarios, take targeted anti-freezing protection measures for the battery system to maintain stable operation performance. For high-frequency continuous operation scenarios, a reasonable power replenishment scheme can be configured to reduce the waiting time caused by charging. Proper operation and maintenance habits can extend the overall service life of the equipment to a certain extent, reduce the comprehensive operating cost of the material handling link, and better match the development trend of energy-saving and low-carbon logistics.
