High-humidity food processing zones, including fresh product sorting areas, cooking and brewing workshops, usually maintain relatively high air humidity all day long, with frequent water splash, condensed water and food organic residues, which put forward higher requirements for the usage of lithium-ion pallet trucks that undertake internal material handling tasks. Following targeted operation rules can effectively avoid unnecessary equipment faults and ensure the continuity of on-site production.
Before starting each shift, operators need to complete standardized pre-operation checks first. First, check the sealing gaskets of the electrical control compartment and the lithium battery compartment to confirm there is no crack, falling off or obvious damage that may cause moisture ingress. Second, check the charging port and power connection parts to wipe off any condensed water or residual water stains before starting the equipment, to prevent short circuit risk caused by residual moisture. At the same time, check the surface of the load forks to remove adhered food residues and mildew spots, to avoid cross-contamination of food turnover containers and meet the basic hygiene requirements of food processing sites.
During the operation process, staff should follow basic usage specifications. Do not park the pallet truck in accumulated water areas for a long time, and avoid splashing large amounts of liquid on the main body of the equipment during the on-site cleaning process. Do not use high-pressure water guns to directly wash the electric control components, so as not to cause moisture to penetrate into the interior of the circuit board. When the equipment shows abnormal power output or flickering indicator lights in the process of moving, stop the machine in time, move it to a dry and ventilated area, cut off the main power supply, and contact professional maintenance personnel for treatment instead of disassembling the lithium battery module without authorization.
After the daily operation, wipe the surface of the whole truck with a clean dry lint-free cloth to remove residual water stains and food debris, then park the equipment in the designated dry and ventilated storage area, do not leave it in the high-humidity production operation area for a long time. Arrange professional personnel to carry out regular performance detection for the lithium-ion pallet truck, including the insulation resistance test of the circuit system and the sealing performance check of the battery pack, which can effectively extend the service life of the equipment and ensure the safety of on-site material handling.
