Semi-clean industrial areas adjacent to core clean rooms usually put forward strict requirements on low particulate emission, no stray oil leakage and stable operation performance, to prevent external pollutants from spreading into the high-standard clean space through air flow or personnel contact. The application of electric material-handling trucks in such scenarios needs to follow targeted operation norms that are different from ordinary industrial sites, to coordinate with the whole site's environmental control system smoothly.
Before starting any operation in this area, operators need to conduct a full appearance check of the truck first, wipe off all floating dust, residual particles and foreign attachments on the wheel surface, vehicle body and fork arms with dedicated non-shedding wiping cloth, confirm there is no residual oil stain on the transmission and power components, and check the battery sealing state to avoid possible electrolyte leakage risk. It is also necessary to confirm that the built-in body filter component keeps unblocked, to prevent the airflow generated during driving from bringing extra suspended particles into the surrounding air environment. Any truck that does not meet the pre-inspection standard is not allowed to enter the semi-clean working zone.
During the operation process, the driving speed of the truck should be kept below the specified limit that matches the semi-clean area management rule, avoid sudden acceleration, sudden braking or sharp steering to prevent the tire from rubbing the ground to generate extra wear particles. Operators should not carry goods with possible shedding of packaging fibers, dust or particulate impurities, and put all transported goods in sealed or properly covered state before entering the semi-clean area. It is also not allowed to arbitrarily disassemble any parts of the truck in the working area, and do not park the truck in the air supply outlet coverage area of the clean room adjacent ventilation system for a long time.
For daily maintenance work, the electric material-handling truck should be moved to the designated non-clean maintenance zone outside the semi-clean working area, do not carry out operations including component disassembly, lubricant filling, battery replacement in the semi-clean space. Teams should regularly replace the dedicated air filtration parts of the vehicle according to the specified cycle, and record all use and maintenance data of the truck properly, to ensure the whole usage process meets the environmental control requirements of the adjacent clean room.
